1. Welcome to Pet Watch! We place our Users and their furry friends at the heart of everything that we do and are committed to being transparent with you to ensure you have the best possible experience when using our Platform.
2. We want all our Users to have a smooth, enjoyable experience with Pet Watch and be a part of our community. For that purpose, these Terms & Conditions set out the terms and conditions in which our services are conducted (provided and purchased) on the mobile application, Pet Watch, its related sub-domains, and sites (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Platform” or “Pet Watch”).

Privacy policy

Overview

At Pet Watch, one of our top priorities is protecting the privacy of our pet owners, their furry family members, and our pet sitters (collectively referred to as “Users”). We are committed to providing the highest level of protection for your personal data under the laws of the United Arab Emirates (referred to as the “UAE”), including Data Protection Law No. 5 of 2020 from the Dubai International Financial Centre (referred to as the “DIFC”) (collectively referred to as the “UAE Laws”). As the data controller under UAE Laws, Pet Watch determines the purpose and means of processing your personal data. We respect the privacy of everyone using our mobile application (referred to as the “Platform”) and are dedicated to protecting any personally identifiable information you may share with us through the Platform, telephone, email, or any other means (referred to as “Personal Data” or “Information”). We collect and use this information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and UAE Laws.

Refund policy

Overview

At Pet Watch, we recognize the unpredictability of life, which may impact your plans with your beloved pets. We value transparency and fairness, which is why we have developed a comprehensive refund policy for cancellations. Our objective is to guarantee fairness and offer you a seamless Pet Watch experience. This Refund Policy is directed to Pet Owners only and should be read along with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Cancellation Policy and other policies provided to Users on the Platform to get a well-rounded and comprehensive understanding of how we work, and to ensure your compliance with all policies and requirements.

Cancellation policy

Overview

At Pet Watch, we understand that things happen in life which you may not have control over, especially when our furry friends are involved, which is why we have designed the Platform and our business model to be as flexible and convenient as possible. However, one of our core values is transparency as well as respecting our Users’ time. For this reason, we have established some rules when it comes to cancellations, which are highlighted within this policy – please ensure to follow them to guarantee a smooth and enjoyable Pet Watch experience. This Cancellation Policy, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and other policies provided to Users on the Platform all together forms our general Terms & Conditions and we are highly recommending to go through our Terms & Conditions to get a well-rounded and comprehensive understanding of how we work, and to ensure your compliance with all policies and requirements. Also, please refer to our Terms & Conditions for the definition of any capitalized terms, which are not defined in this Policy.

Disclaimers for users

Disclaimers and limitations

The information provided by Pet Watch (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) on our online application (referred to as the “Platform” or “Pet Watch’s App”) is intended solely for general informational purposes. Our Platform only serves as a connection hub, linking Pet Owners and Pet Sitters (referred to individually “user”, “you” or “your”; and collectively as “users”) to facilitate the exchange of pet care services (referred to as the “Services”). Pet Watch itself does not provide pet care services.  Our Platform aims to simplify the process by which Pet Owners can find and engage Pet Sitters for pet care needs, and by which Pet Sitters can offer their services. It is important to note that the information provided on the Platform is meant to support these connections and does not constitute professional advice or endorsements. Although we strive to provide accurate and reliable information on our Platform, we cannot guarantee its completeness or correctness. We make no promises or warranties, either expressed or implied, about the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the information on our Platform.

Pet owner – Terms and obligations

Overview

1. As a Pet Owner, we would like to make your Pet Watch experience as smooth and convenient as possible for you and your furry family members! In order to do so we have put together a list of obligations and terms that are specific to you and that apply to Pet Owners only.
2. The specific obligations contained herein together with the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and any other policies provided on the Platform shall form the entire understanding between the Owner and Pet Watch/MAM and shall supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Pet sitter – Terms and obligations

Overview

1. As a Pet Sitter, we would like to make your Pet Watch experience as smooth and convenient as possible for you and your future furry friends! In order to do so we have put together a list of obligations and terms that are specific to you and that apply to Pet Sitters only.
2. The specific obligations and guidelines pertaining to your specific User journey as a Per Sitter contained herein together with the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and any other policies provided on the Platform shall form the entire understanding between the Owner and Pet Watch/MAM and shall supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Data Protection Consent Form

Overview

1. I, the undersigned, (hereinafter referred to as the “Data Subject” which expression shall mean and include his/her legal heirs, representatives, executors, successors-in-interest, and permitted assigns) hereby acknowledge that I have read and understood the contents of this Data Protection Consent Form and agree to be bound by it in my individual capacity in relation to my engagement as a Pet Owner or Pet Sitter (as defined in our Terms & Conditions) (whichever is applicable) with “Pet Watch” or “MAM Technologies Portal Limited”  (may also be referred to as “we”, “us” or “our” hereunder), a company duly incorporated and validly existing under the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (“DIFC”) (hereinafter referred to as the “Company” or “Data Controller”, which expression shall mean and include its representatives, successors-in-interest, and permitted assigns);

Incident management policy

Overview

1. At Pet Watch, data protection and our stakeholders’ privacy are of utmost importance and thus, through transparency and thought-out processes, we are committed to maintaining and securing all data as laid out by our comprehensive Data Protection Policy. However, in the unlikely event that there is a Data Breach, the following policy outlines the procedures and responsibilities for addressing and mitigating data security incidents in compliance with the Dubai International Financial Centre (hereinafter referred to as the “DIFC”) Law No. 5 of 2020 (hereinafter referred to as the “Data Protection Law”). This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and third-party partners who handle personal data within Pet Watch.
